Black Splat Ender's Game (2013)

"Listen up Launchies. My name is Sgt. James Dap. Ask me a legitimate question and I will give you DIRECT answer. But if you are looking for a shoulder to cry on, use a pillow. [giggles] Do I look like I'm joking, SNOTS? You are to work as a team. You will all make this bunk room your home. You will all keep your home CLEAN! There are separate showers for both sexes. If you are found in an area not designated to your gender, I will personally neuter you! AM I CLEAR?!!!"

Description: Nonso Anozie as Sgt. James Dap, a training officer gives orders to new recruits aboard a space craft orbiting earth in the sci-fi film Ender's Game (2013)

"Fifty years ago an alien force known as the Formics attacked Earth. Tens of millions died. It was only through the sacrifice of our greatest commander that we avoided total annihilation. We've been preparing for them to come back ever since. The International Fleet decided that the world's smartest children are the planet's best hope. Raised on war games, their decisions are intuitive, decisive, fearless. I am one of those recruits." - Ender Wiggin

Cadet "Ender" Wiggin is brilliant young man who is recruited by the International Military to lead the fight against the Formics, an alien race which nearly annihilated the human race in a
previous invasion.

Under the command of Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) Wiggin is recruited to train at Battle School along with the other talented youths. Their mission: Using computer simulation,
destroy the Formics and prevent another invasion of the planet earth.

The previous invasion was thwarted by the legendary warrior Commander Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley) when realized the hive-mind nature of the enemy and wasted the mother ship that communicated with the rest of the invading soldiers forcing their retreat. Rackham, thought dead, reappears to train Wiggins and his recruits in their mission to save earth.

Bonzo Madrid: I asked for a replacement for O'Riley and this is what I get. A useless, skinny, untrained snot. Let me be clear, I intend to trade you a-s-a-p My army has been undefeated for the last 21 battles. I'm trying to get into command school. You can get your training at someone else's expanse.

After struggling to be part of the training team and overcoming his rivals, Wiggin earns the trust of his fellow cadets and takes command of a battle team ("The Dragons") to join in a final computer simulation game.

Wiggin's solution is to sacrifice most of the fleet so that a Molecular Detachment (MD), a desintigration device can be used to wipe out the Formic Home World.

When the simulation is over Ender learns that the game was in fact real and that he had been in control of the actual invasion fleet that hovered over the Formic World.

Remorseful, that he was responsible for the death of an entire race, Ender takes a lone queen egg, the last spark of the Formic race and travels in to deep space with hopes of finding a new world for the Formic race.

"I need to find out if I'm as gifted at peace as I am at war. They've awarded me the rank of Admiral and left me to my own devices, which suits me fine. I'll travel the universe and carry with me a precious cargo. Because I have a promise to keep." - Ender Wiggin [last lines]

Ender had learned from a dying Queen that the Formics accidentally invaded Earth because they thought it was non-sentient, that is unlike the hive-mind of their own race. Ender promised to bring the last egg to a new planet so the Formic race could survive.
